As Autoportal has already written, recently Oschadbank launched a project to equip patrol cars, checkpoints, and district offices of the State Automobile Inspectorate with payment terminals. They are implementing devices for payment in almost all regions of Ukraine. Today, the network of terminal equipment for the traffic police has more than 1000 units.

Whether to use the terminal on the spot or pay the fine at a bank branch is decided by the driver himself. If the payment is made on the spot and the driver has paid the fine, then he no longer needs to contact the traffic police. As of today, 1 million UAH in traffic police fines have already been paid through Oschadbank terminals. This amount can be considered quite substantial, given the fact that traffic police officers began to be supplied with terminals at the end of winter.
There is also a downside. If you pay the fine on the spot, you actually admit your guilt. In this case, it is practically impossible to contest the actions of traffic police officers. Therefore, if you do not agree with the charges brought against you, demand the drawing up of a protocol and the transfer of the case to court, rather than paying the fine on the spot.
