The vehicles underwent major repairs in Britain, but the weapons will be installed on them already in Ukraine. This is due to the fact that they must have combat modules for ammunition of the Soviet standard. It is these that are still in service with the Ukrainian forces.

All vehicles have a factory warranty. The cost of each Saxon AT-105 is $51,000, including all duties and transportation costs (it turns out that the state taxes equipment for its own Armed Forces?).
After unloading, the first Saxon are already moving from the Odessa port. As previously reported by representatives of Ukroboronprom, the armored vehicles withstand shots from 7.62 mm caliber weapons (which is insufficient in modern combat conditions), withstand mine and explosive detonations, and withstand glancing bursts (sometimes) from large-caliber weapons

Saxon first began entering British troops back in late 1983. In 2008, they were withdrawn from service with the British army as not meeting modern requirements. For most modern large-caliber ammunition, the armor of the Saxons is not an obstacle.

The Saxon AT-105 was not designed for participation in combat operations; its main task is to deliver groups of soldiers or mortar crews to the combat zone and evacuate the wounded. The vehicle accommodates 2 crew members and 7 riflemen. The maximum speed of the armored vehicle is 96 km/h, and all-wheel drive 4x4 increases its cross-country capability. The maximum fording depth that the Saxon can overcome is 90 cm.
