This is due to the fact that recently on the roads of Ukraine there have been more frequent cases of the use of special signals by vehicles that do not have the right to them. Using such means, drivers violate traffic rules and create emergency situations, and this is a direct threat to the life and health of other road users.
It is precisely to prevent such situations that the State Traffic Inspectorate has deployed its forces to conduct an event designed to eradicate the vicious practice of illegal installation of special signals. Detected devices will be confiscated by law enforcement officers, and an administrative protocol will be drawn up against vehicle owners.
Let us remind our readers: a limited number of certain categories of special vehicles have the right to use flashing lights and sirens. Violation of the requirements of the law provides for liability in the form of a fine - from 42,500 to 51,000 hryvnias.
