Autoportal has already reported that black SUVs are being stolen in Kyiv. But if just recently several cars were stolen per day, this week the rates of theft of expensive SUVs have started to go off the charts.
Thus, over the last few days, several dozen (!) cases of theft of such prestigious cars as Range Rover, Lexus RX and Lexus GX, BMW X5, Mercedes ML, etc. have been recorded.
According to "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine", up to 10 thefts of premium SUVs and crossovers are recorded in just one morning. The traffic police claim that professional thieves are operating in the capital, who spend no more than 30 seconds on stealing one car! So far, the police have not even picked up the trail of the thieves, but they claim that cars stolen in Kyiv are being transported to eastern Ukraine, where "separatists" pay from 15 to 25 thousand dollars for Range Rovers and Lexuses, regardless of the availability of documents.
