As we have already said, over the past two weeks fuel in Ukraine has significantly become cheaper. But in fact, compared to the fall in oil prices, this price reduction can be considered a "disservice".

Thus, according to calculations by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMKU), the fair price of A-95 of European quality is 14.1 hryvnias per liter. The committee is confident that the domestic petroleum products market should have long ago adjusted gasoline prices, taking into account the decline in world oil prices.

Does this mean that gasoline will become cheaper to 14 hryvnias? The question is rhetorical, but a temporary price reduction should not be ruled out. After all, elections are approaching, and most likely, one of the ministers (or higher) will not miss the chance to show their influence, thereby gaining trust from voters. Which, in principle, has already been observed…
