The current volume of imports in monetary terms reached 694.8 million dollars, which is 2.2 times less compared to the same period last year.
As before, Japan remained the main supplier of cars to the country. From there, 3.37 thousand cars worth 114.7 million dollars arrived in Ukraine. Germany was almost on par with it — the same 3.37 thousand cars and the same 114.7 million dollars. Russia closed the top three, importing 2.75 thousand cars, also for 114.7 million dollars.
The greatest demand among imported cars was for diesel models with an engine displacement from 1.5 to 2.5 liters. They accounted for exactly one fifth of all imported vehicles.
