Earlier, AvtoPortal reported that ten new cars disappeared from a car dealership in the Donetsk region. After this incident, dealer companies decided to strengthen security measures.
Now it has become known that due to the increasing number of thefts in Donbas, importers have suspended the shipment of new cars both to the region itself and to other troubled areas in the east of the country. As noted in the All-Ukrainian Association of Importers and Dealers, deliveries are suspended not only to cities where active hostilities are ongoing, but also to entire regions where there are hotspots of tension.
In addition, representatives of the association said that dealers moved cars from showrooms to more protected places and warehouse facilities. However, it is still possible to buy a new car in Donbas. Even if the desired model is not in stock, sellers are ready to arrange delivery of the car separately for each client.
