Over the past seven days, armed individuals removed two dozen new cars from dealerships in Donetsk, and another seventeen cars disappeared from showrooms in Horlivka. In addition, unknown persons took possession of an armored cash collection vehicle containing one million hryvnias, and also stole a KrAZ truck and a passenger bus.

The proposal to organize protection for car dealerships was made by the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers (UAID).
As reported by the head of UAID, Oleh Nazarenko, the association decided to establish data exchange on the increase in the number of crimes and to consider measures that will help protect cars in unstable regions of the country. The organization also plans to coordinate the actions of security companies and organize rapid deployment of mobile groups to where their presence may be needed.
