The premiere of the car, which received an engine with more than 1000 horsepower, will take place at the SEMA festival in Las Vegas.

The specialists replaced the 3.6-liter "six" with a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V6 engine with a new radiator, improved fuel system and stainless steel exhaust. In addition, the tuners used a different engine control unit.

As a result, the unit, working in conjunction with a specially tuned eight-speed automatic transmission, began to develop 1014 hp and 1264 Nm of torque. Thus, the engine turned out to be about three and a half times more powerful than the engine of a standard Gladiator. The pickup is capable of accelerating from standstill to 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) in 3.9 seconds.

The Hennessey Maximus 1000 received a modified suspension with increased ground clearance by 150 mm, solid Dana axles, aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich off-road tires.

In total, Hennessey will produce 24 such cars, each of which will take about four months to assemble. The cost of the pickup will be 200 thousand dollars.
