The bulletproof glass of the "reinforced" Escalade is 5 cm thick and can withstand shots from large-caliber assault rifles and powerful pistols. For an additional cost, the windshield can be equipped with special anti-icing elements, built-in GPS antennas, and solar panels. Special carbon fiber panels were used to protect the body, which are ten times stronger than standard ballistic steel but about 60% lighter.
The roof had to be raised by 11 cm to install the LED lighting system. In addition, the armored SUV was equipped with strobe lights with a siren, a surround-view and night vision system, a modified suspension, run-flat tires, and reinforced brakes.
The interior features Alcantara upholstery, a 32-inch TV with Apple TV and an HBO subscription, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot and a Sony sound system.
This version of the Cadillac Escalade will cost $350,000.
