The project was based on the 760-horsepower P90D version, which received the SB (Shooting Brake) prefix. The modified rear part of the Tesla Model S P90D-SB body is partially made of carbon fiber, which made the station wagon 14 kg lighter than the "original".

The creation of the project took the British more than one year. The cost of converting the hatchback into a station wagon is estimated at about 70 thousand pounds.

The presentation of the Tesla Model S P90D-SB to the general public will take place at the May auto show in London.
