The creators of the next film about Agent 007 should take a closer look at the craftsmen from Thailand, who turned a well-known German coupe into a semblance of a British supercar. For stunt filming, such a replica will cost significantly less than the original Aston Martin DBS.

The basis for the fake Aston Martin DBS was the Opel Calibra — a model known in the UK as the Vauxhall Calibra, in Australia and New Zealand as the Holden Calibra, and in South America as the Chevrolet Calibra. This two-door, four-seat car was produced from 1989 to 1997. Thai tuners are not yet sharing details of their work, but the Opel Calibra is suitable for creating a replica not only of the Aston Martin DBS, but also of the Porsche 911 Turbo — a German project based on the Calibra appeared several years earlier.

It is worth adding that the original Aston Martin DBS has a 510-horsepower 6-liter V12 engine, while the most powerful version of the Opel Calibra was equipped with a 204-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive.
