With the red ignition key, the car will be limited to a speed of 120 km/h, the audio system will not be able to operate at maximum volume, the adaptive cruise control will automatically set the greatest distance to the vehicle ahead, and all auxiliary safety systems will switch to an enhanced mode of operation.
This key will be useful when the car is handed over to valets, car wash employees, service workers, or, for example, to young drivers with little experience.
This option is intended exclusively for the top models S90, V90 and XC90 and is currently offered only to customers in the UK.
