The car was created in honor of the company's anniversary. The concept car is made from renewable or recyclable materials. In terms of its dimensions, the new model is comparable to the production BMW 5 Series. In terms of drag coefficient, the prototype surpasses many supercars - only 0.18.

The Vision Next 100 has two driving profiles - Boost and Ease. In the first case, the driver controls the car, while information about speed, turns, etc. is transmitted to the windshield. In poor weather conditions (rain, fog), data on surrounding vehicles moving along the same trajectory is added. This allows the driver to better navigate the road. Instead of a steering wheel, there is a joystick similar to a control wheel.

If the Ease mode is activated, the seats take a "face-to-face" position. In turn, the projection display across the entire windshield shows only information needed by passengers. This is mainly entertainment content, data from the audio system, climate control, etc. No "unnecessary" information such as speed, restrictions, etc.

In autopilot mode, the BMW Vision Next 100 can not only drive without the driver's help, choosing the right speed and following a given route, but also can blink headlights, turn on fog lights, etc.
