At the Los Angeles Auto Show (which will start in the third decade of November 2015), Volvo will clearly demonstrate a car that, in turn, will show "how much time a vehicle can give back to drivers."

Given Volvo's latest developments, it is likely that the Swedes intend to present a car with an autopilot to the world. It is known that the new model has the SPA platform, like the new XC90 crossover. No details about the unusualness of the concept are available at the moment.

Let us remind you that at the beginning of this year, Volvo presented the Drive Me autonomous driving system, real tests of which will start in 2017. The company plans to put 100 cars equipped with this technology on the streets of Gothenburg at once. The project has already been approved by the Swedish government. The essence of the system is that it can distinguish objects in front of the car, read signs and lanes, and can park completely on its own. To avoid force majeure, many functions of the car will be duplicated by backup systems.
