On Saturday, May 31, two races will take place. The professional competition Race Horizon Park-1 will start at 10 a.m. near the Ukraina Palace and will follow a route from the center of Kyiv, covering Lva Tolstoho Square, Velyka Vasylkivska Street, Liubchenka, Horkoho, and Kovpaka streets. Racers from Greece, Slovakia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Romania, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Austria, and, of course, three teams from Ukraine will speed through here.
At the same time, the annual amateur bicycle parade "VeloDay" will take place in the city center. Everyone is welcome to participate. The ride will start at 10:00 a.m. on Sofiivska Square and will pass through Lva Tolstoho, Bessarabska, Mykhailivska, Yevropeiska squares and Shota Rustaveli, Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska, Naberezhno-Rybalska streets, and the Park of Friendship of Peoples.
On Sunday, June 1, 2014, the third Race Horizon Park race will take place. The competition will cover the Solomianskyi district of the capital. The race start is planned for 10 a.m. The route will run along Mykoly Hrinchenka, Kirovohradska streets, Chervonozorianyi Avenue, Andriia Holovka, Solomianska streets, and Protasiv Yar. It is gratifying to recall that the previous event was marked by victories of our compatriots.
