Recently, the Kyiv mayor has often appeared in the news because he came to work by bicycle. Now, according to Klitschko, bicycle patrols will soon be seen on the capital's roads.
"It is gratifying that every year the number of those who prefer to ride a bicycle around the city is growing in Kyiv. I can already announce that very soon Kyiv residents will see patrol officers moving on bicycles on the streets," the mayor noted.
Vitali Klitschko also said that the city is currently working on the arrangement of new bicycle paths and parking spaces. There are already bicycle routes in a number of parks, in May it is planned to open a intercepting bicycle parking near the metro station "Livoberezhna", and by the beginning of summer they promise to present an updated bicycle track.
