State agency employees have started adding information about road repairs and traffic restrictions on intercity highways to Yandex.Maps. Now motorists will be able to find out in advance whether a particular road is available.
According to Interfax, Ukravtodor will transmit data on the condition of the passage through the Yandex.Maps and Navigator services. Any driver using this application will be able to see information about ongoing repair works and illegal blockages on public roads.
Representatives of the state structure have already begun working with the service and are putting up-to-date information on the map about the condition of the road surface, as well as about deterioration of traffic due to accidents, repairs, weather conditions, and protest actions in regions and on intercity highways.
