Acrid smoke has covered not only the capital, but also the surrounding areas. In this regard, the city authorities ask Kyiv residents and guests of the capital to refrain from traveling in personal cars. In addition, the entry of trucks and vans into the city territory has been banned. The reason is to reduce the already off-scale amount of harmful substances in the air.
For preventive purposes, the Kyiv authorities have ordered regular watering of roads and courtyards. Communal services are responsible for watering the streets (53 watering machines have been prepared), but janitors will have to "refresh" the courtyards.
Another piece of news is that the Kyiv City State Administration allowed children not to attend lessons and kindergartens today, and to have a day off in educational institutions tomorrow, on Friday, September 4. Children were also asked not to be taken outside without unnecessary need.
