This year, catastrophically little funds have been allocated for road repairs in Ukraine – about 4 billion UAH. Of these, 700 million UAH has been directed to the "Carpathian Project." Most of the remaining funds go to pothole repair. This information was disseminated by "RBC-Ukraine" citing Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Shulmeister.

Regarding the "Carpathian Project," he added: "This is a road restoration project aimed at developing the tourist potential of the Carpathian region. The main part of these funds, about 550 million UAH, is allocated for the Lviv-Bibrka-Ivano-Frankivsk road. Work is already underway. We plan to finish the road repair in August. Tenders have already been held, and two companies are handling the repair."
Overall, the budget of "Ukravtodor" is 24 billion UAH, of which 19 billion will be directed to repaying loans and interest on them.
