The first decorated checkpoint has already appeared on the Zhytomyr highway. As the mayor said, the idea to paint the checkpoint with national patterns belongs to the Kyiv artists themselves, who proposed doing this for the posts at the entrance to the capital.

At the same time, Klitschko emphasized that the paintings are just decoration, and the main task is to strengthen the checkpoints to prevent the possible import of weapons and ammunition.
