A garbage truck crashed into a crowd standing on the sidewalk. As a result of the incident, six people died, and several others were seriously injured.
For unknown reasons, the municipal service vehicle at high speed jumped onto the pedestrian walkway and drove through a crowd of people waiting for the traffic light signal. The vehicle stopped after crashing into a hotel wall. According to eyewitnesses, the impact was so strong that some victims were thrown 15 meters.
The local police are investigating the causes of the incident.
