We have already written more than once about the project of building a bridge to Crimea. Now a new proposal has emerged to build a tunnel. Recently, a statement by businessman Gennady Timchenko was made public, who proposed building a tunnel under the Kerch Strait for 40 billion rubles.
It should be noted that experts continue to lean towards the construction of a bridge in the Tuzla area. True, the cost of construction in this case will be about 300 billion rubles. And the deadlines are not the most optimistic - December 31, 2017. Therefore, the businessman is inclined towards the tunnel option.
Timchenko believes that it is quite realistic to build a tunnel in three years.
