The authors of the rating note that the road is characterized by a sharp change in climate (depending on altitude above sea level), often covered with snow and ice during the cold season, and often passes near deep abysses and gorges.

In the area of this highway there are many natural monuments, in particular, the highest waterfall in Ukraine, Uchan-Su (height 98.5 meters) and the Grand Canyon of Crimea. In addition, the road, in the area of the Main Ridge of the Crimean Mountains, makes many dangerous but picturesque turns (serpentine).

Also, Mount Ai-Petri (and indeed the entire plateau), next to which the road runs, according to meteorological observations, is the foggiest and windiest point in all of Ukraine.

Earlier, AvtoPortal wrote that Russia will build a bridge to Crimea across the Kerch Strait.
