Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported that from this day until August 21, traffic on the Darnytskyi Bridge towards the right bank will be completely closed. The reason is installation work on the under-construction exit towards Koncha-Zaspa.

Earlier, we already reported that this week Kyiv risks turning into one giant traffic jam: until August 20 inclusive (and possibly until the 22nd), due to the construction of the interchange near the Dnipro metro station, passage from the Metro Bridge towards Dniprovskyi Descent and the Paton Bridge is closed. In other words, from the Metro Bridge, you can only turn towards Poshtova Square.

However, even towards Poshtova Square, it is not easy to get through — journalists from AvtoPortal personally verified this this morning.

Thus, out of five Kyiv bridges, for a whole week (including morning rush hours), only three and a half will be operational towards the right bank.

And if we take into account repair works on the Paton Bridge, the number of fully operational bridges steadily decreases to three.

However, the automobile tunnels, which have long been discussed in the Kyiv City State Administration, would now be more useful than ever.
