A sad event for motorcycle fans from all over the world happened on January 18. Firefighters quickly responded to the alarm, but by the time they arrived, the fire had already completely engulfed the building. A team of 60 firefighters tried to contain and extinguish the fire, but to no avail. The fact that the museum building was made entirely of wood played a role.

The Top Mountain collection consisted mainly of motorcycles from European brands: from Zundapp, Brough Superior to Sunbeam, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta. There were also several classic American bikes - Harley Davidson, Indian and Flying Merkel. The museum was founded in 2016 by two brothers - Alban and Attila Scheiber. They had been collecting the motorcycles that burned in the fire all their lives, starting from childhood.
