In service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, electric vehicles receive license plates of state registration, made in green color on a white background. In total, 86,864 sets of such plates have been issued for electric cars, and 1,407 sets for commercial electric transport.
It should be noted that "green" license plates are intended only for vehicles with an electric drive. This applies to cars, mopeds, motorcycles, scooters, motorized wheelchairs, quad bikes, tricycles, and other machines that operate exclusively on an electric motor and are not equipped with an internal combustion engine.
