Compared to April, demand for cars in Ukraine decreased by 4 percent.

Among new passenger cars, the Japanese brand Toyota continues to hold the lead, having sold 928 vehicles. The second position is retained by Renault with 440 cars sold. The third place goes to BMW, which managed to sell 418 cars. The top five leaders of May also include VW (389 units) and Skoda (318 units).

The most popular car among new passenger cars in Ukraine in May was the TOYOTA RAV-4 crossover — its sales exceeded the monthly figures of any other model. In total, since the beginning of the year, 27.7 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in the country, which is 29% more than in the same period of 2023.
