"Ukrainian fuel retail can without exaggeration be called one of the country's flagship industries. Gas stations in Ukraine have long become not only a place where you can fill up a full tank of gasoline: here they prepare fresh coffee, feed you deliciously, and offer rest. The level of comfort is so high that our country has become a place where people come to learn even from traditionally oil-rich countries", comments Oleksandr Melnychuk, Director of Marketing Strategy at the BRSM-NAFTA gas station network.

As part of the business visit, the guests visited 5 BRSM-NAFTA gas stations in Kyiv, where they noted spacious retail areas, a wide product assortment, a modern gastro zone, and clean restrooms. In addition, the delegation was impressed by the very format of the stores - stained glass, panoramic windows, and modern interior design.

"We are impressed by the conversion of the BRSM network. A remarkable coefficient. Every customer who comes here to refuel buys many goods. The very format of the Good Market supermarkets was especially striking - clearly refined high-margin segments such as coffee and gastronomy. Interesting gas station design plus there is segmentation - both Good Market and minimarkets, but even where the area is small, you can feel the high efficiency of return from every square meter", noted Tulemis Shotanov, General Director of Petro Retail.

In turn, Murat Maulenbekov, Director of Logistics and Transport at GASENERGY, noted the successful implementation of the concept voiced by BRSM's top management: ensuring complete safety and comfort for the customer.

"It is noticeable how much attention the owners pay to the territory, the premises of the sales floor, its decoration, and assortment. Communicating with BRSM customers, I realized that they feel 'premiumness'. Consumers are very sensitive today, and you must be extremely sincere with them - otherwise trust will be lost", he added.

In addition to the excursion program, tastings, and discussion of current fuel market issues, representatives of the BRSM-NAFTA network held consultations for colleagues from Kazakhstan on modernization and a comprehensive approach to customers.
