As the doctors themselves note, they have a great need for personal protective equipment, so the help of responsible business is extremely important.
“The coronavirus pandemic is a challenge for society. We, as a socially responsible business, understand and know about the needs of doctors who are now on the front line of defense against the disease. And protecting them is one of the main tasks. Therefore, how quickly we can overcome the virus depends on our unity and the readiness of the medical system to resist this threat,” says Yaroslava Polyakova, Head of Corporate Communications at OKKO.

The implementation of the project became possible also with the participation of OKKO partners from the Charitable Foundation “Wings of Hope”, who helped organize the purchase of everything necessary for medical institutions.
In addition, OKKO supported the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine with fuel, and together with AVIS Ukraine organized transfer for medical workers of Kyiv Maternity Hospital No. 6.
Recall that in March 2020, OKKO joined the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and financed more than 50,000 trips for medical workers through Uber, Uklon, Bolt and Opti services, and purchased eight artificial lung ventilation devices for hospitals in the Lviv region.
