Until the end of January, the new product can be ordered at a special price: UAH 675,900 for the version with an onboard awning and UAH 738,900 for the cargo van. Starting February 1, 2020, the price will increase to the standard UAH 743,900 and UAH 812,900, respectively. Sales are scheduled to start in the near future.
The FAW Tiger V is a medium-duty universal vehicle with a payload of 4.7 tons and a three-seat cab. The cab tilts forward, providing convenient access to the engine.
The model is designed for maximum economic efficiency in urban and regional transportation. Thanks to a successful balance of payload and operating costs, this class is expected to become popular in the agricultural sector, municipal services, distribution, and construction. The reinforced frame, sturdy drive axles, and 17.5-inch wheels allow for transporting larger volumes of cargo. Under the hood is a Cummins diesel engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters and 143 hp, a BOSCH high-pressure fuel system, and a ZF transmission. The engine features an extended service life and moderate fuel consumption. Advantages also include a 6-speed gearbox, manual pneumatic brake, and hill brake. The aluminum fuel tank with a capacity of 130 liters is equipped with additional protective mounting. Side mirrors are positioned to minimize blind spots. The cab is raised hydraulically, and the four-point mounting system softens the ride even on rough roads. The manufacturer has taken care of both assembly quality and driver comfort: the base configuration includes an onboard computer, air conditioning, power windows, audio system, cruise control, daytime running lights, two batteries, an 8-ton jack, a roof hatch, and a spoiler. Thus, the FAW Tiger V meets key customer expectations — reliability, economy, and an affordable price that is significantly lower than analogues from CIS and Asian countries.
The FAW Tiger V chassis is planned for the production of a wide range of vehicles with various superstructures: vans for different purposes, dump trucks, municipal equipment, tankers, etc.
The factory warranty is 2 years or 100,000 km of mileage, whichever comes first. In addition, the vehicle can be financed through credit or leasing.
