With the help of steam and temperature maintenance, the showcase provides a certain humidity, which is an important condition for most dishes of Pan-Asian cuisine. For example, such as baozi with BBQ pork or turkey, dim sum with chicken and vegetables. You can also try glass noodles with chicken, Thai omelet here. The company's future plans include expanding the assortment and locations where Pan-Asian dishes will be presented.
"The world trend - Pan-Asian cuisine - is becoming increasingly popular among Ukrainians. A few years ago, we opened our first Pan-Asian restaurant at a gas station - Meiwei (Kyiv), later we launched a city format and food courts in the capital's shopping malls. Our goal today is to make the cuisine closer to our customer, so that they can enjoy their favorite dishes not only in the restaurant, but also by stopping at a gas station. The steam box fully preserves the taste properties of the dishes. In fact, it allows us to quickly and efficiently provide restaurant-level food services for those in a hurry. Moreover, the project allowed us to go beyond the capital. We presented Pan-Asian dishes at OKKO in Odesa for the first time," says Dmytro Rasskazov, Vice President of Retail Sales and Marketing at OKKO.
Let us remind you that the steam showcase project is not the first innovation at OKKO gas stations. For example, in 2017, thermal showcases appeared at the network's complexes. Just "yesterday" a pilot project, today it is already presented at 170 complexes of the network. Thermal showcases allowed to significantly expand the range of hot dishes at gas stations in a self-service format. Today, the thermal showcase offers soups, several types of varenyky, pastries, chicken strips, etc.
"We adopt advanced world practices for our business. For example, steam showcases are present in many quality convenience retail outlets in Asia. We are confident that the steam showcase, like the thermal one, will be appreciated by Ukrainians," adds Dmytro Rasskazov.
