The design of the car will practically not differ from the standard T-Roc, which was presented in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car received a two-door body and a soft folding top that can be extended in case of bad weather. The length of the new product is 4268 mm (+35 mm compared to the standard T-Roc), and the height has decreased by 51 mm (to 1522 millimeters). The trunk volume is 284 liters. For a regular crossover, this figure is 445 liters.

The folding soft top of the new product retracts in just 9 seconds at speeds up to 20 km per hour. This can be done using a special button on the central tunnel or remotely from the key fob. At the start of sales, customers will be offered two design packages at once - Style and R-Line.

The engine range of the car includes a 1.0-liter gasoline engine. The power of the unit is 115 horsepower. Customers will also be offered a 1.5-liter "turbo-four" with an output of 150 horsepower. Transmissions - six-speed "mechanics" or a seven-range "robot" with two clutches. The cross-cabriolet will go on sale with front-wheel drive. Whether the all-wheel drive modification is expected is still unknown. Earlier it was reported that the version with four driving wheels would be too heavy due to the folding roof mechanism.

European sales of the new product will begin in the spring of next year. Production of the model will be established at the plant in the city of Osnabrück.
