One of the leading suppliers of specialized automotive equipment – AIS Group of Companies, organizes within the framework of the Exhibition a premiere showing of a new emergency (ambulance) medical vehicle based on the OPEL Movano. The new ambulance has a declaration of conformity for medical products of types A1, A2, B (DSTU 7032) and meets the requirements of the technical regulation on medical devices, approved by the CMU resolution dated 02.10.2013 No. 753.
The OPEL Movano, taken as the base for the ambulance, is one of the European leaders in the commercial vehicle segment. It is reliable, economical to operate, and has some of the best safety and comfort options in its class.
The new ambulance based on the OPEL Movano is equipped with all the elements necessary to provide assistance in difficult conditions: a device designed for artificial lung ventilation with the ability to supply oxygen, masks, breathing tubes for people of different ages, and an oxygen reservoir; an oxygen inhaler; a mount for an infusion system, a manual portable fluid suction device, a small resuscitation kit, stretchers, a fire extinguisher, etc. Suppliers of medical equipment are leading Ukrainian companies. The list of medical equipment configuration can be changed according to the individual needs of the customer.
The OPEL Movano has an economical and reliable turbo diesel engine of the Euro-5 standard, with a power of 125 hp, and a manual 6-speed gearbox. The converted vehicle has a comfortable interior with air conditioning, where medical staff can comfortably and conveniently be located for work and movement. In addition, the medical vehicle has a number of safety systems: ABS (emergency braking assistance system), ESP stability control system + HILL START ASSIST, driver and passenger airbags.
Reliability and comfort of operation are also ensured by: power steering, engine adaptation for starting in cold climates, adaptation to poor road conditions, 4-speed ventilation and air recirculation mode, cruise control with speed limiter, electric windows, heated rear-view mirrors, rear parking sensors, fog lights, driver's seat with armrest and adjustment options, as well as a number of other options.
The conversion of the vehicle into an ambulance was carried out by the enterprise "Avto-Holding", which produces specialized cargo and passenger equipment, dump trucks, vans, and municipal equipment. The products of this enterprise are certified and meet the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, and the quality management system meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2009 standard.
