The first restaurant of this format was presented last year in Furmanka (near Uman) on the international highway "Kyiv-Odesa". Now the same establishments have appeared at OKKO gas stations also in Kyiv and Lviv regions, located near major highways. The new A la minute format is a combination of modern gastronomic trends, natural local products, and a conceptual interior.
The menu of the renovated restaurants is professional, high European cuisine made from local products. First of all, it is a restaurant about meat and bread. Thanks to slow cooking in the oven, the meat becomes very tender, juicy, and acquires light notes of smoking. Familiar dishes can be tried here in a non-standard presentation - for example, Italian roll (pork neck baked with sun-dried tomatoes, stuffed with pieces of turkey with pesto sauce) or turkey in honey-mustard marinade, breaded in black sesame, which is baked for 10 hours. Bread is also baked here independently. You can enjoy onion bread or with cranberries "straight from the oven" both in the restaurant and take it with you on the road.
Instead of the usual borscht, in the new A la minute you can order beetroot soup with smoked meats and sour cream, and instead of soup with meatballs - a variation with turkey and parmesan. Salmon steak will be cooked here in orange caramel, and cabbage salad will be complemented with juicy apple and delicate creamy sauce.
Technological processes in the restaurant are built taking into account the modern pace of life and the needs of travelers. As in all other restaurants of the OKKO chain, the renovated A la minute operates the "Calculate your time on the road" system. It provides that ordered dishes will be prepared and served to the guest within 15 minutes. If the kitchen is delayed even for a second, the guest will receive a certificate for free coffee as a gift.
The interior of the renovated restaurants has become more laconic and stylish. It is now dominated by restrained gray and black colors. Thanks to this, the entire internal space at the gas station - restaurant, cafe, and store - creates a single open space. Conditional boundaries between all these locations are erased, and the minimalist atmosphere allows making the main emphasis on the key option of A la minute - tasty and nutritious food.
