As a member of the VAAID and an operator acting in the interests of Ukrainian drivers, the AIS Group of Companies supports the Cabinet's legislative initiatives aimed at the so-called "tax amnesty" for cars imported and used in the country. The company also supports proposals that will help reduce the fiscal pressure on the price of both new and used cars, making them more affordable for buyers.

As one of the largest players in the used car market, AIS is interested in a legal solution to the "euro plates" issue. The development of a transparent and competitive used car market, according to the company, will give Ukrainians access to a wide selection of inexpensive and reliable cars, ensure transaction security, and offer additional services — lending and leasing in the secondary market, trade-in, breakdown insurance, and more.

The work of all participants in the car market and car owners themselves in a single legal framework is the key to road safety and national security in general.

The AIS Group of Companies calls on the Cabinet of Ministers and the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada to speed up the adoption and coordination of draft laws concerning the liberalization of taxation in the automotive sector.

The company officially rejects claims by third parties that it is obstructing the resolution of these issues. The reasons are as follows:

- AIS's share of the new passenger car market does not exceed 5%, so the company does not benefit from restrictions on the import of used cars;

- AIS is actively developing the used car segment and is directly interested in its growth;

- the company is not engaged in lobbying — proof of this is the absence of laws or projects that would create unequal conditions for market participants.

AIS considers such accusations unfounded and believes that their purpose is not to resolve the problem legislatively, but to maintain the current state of affairs.

This statement is the official position of the AIS Group of Companies. Other messages on behalf of the company should be considered disinformation and ordered "black" PR.
