A new establishment, positioning itself as "smart food," is located in the city center at 23 Bolshaya Vasylkivska Street. It became the 40th restaurant of the OKKO chain and the 2nd in the Pan-Asian cuisine format Meiwei.

Currently, the total share of non-fuel sales of the company is 30%. And over the past 3 years, this indicator has been growing by 25% annually. The development of the restaurant chain is one of the strategic priorities for OKKO. In particular, the company clearly observes a trend of an increasing share of visitors who come to a restaurant or cafe specifically for lunch, but may not even refuel their car – now this is every second guest of OKKO establishments.
These indicators, market trends, as well as the fact that the first Meiwei (located at the OKKO gas station in Kyiv at 4a Novokonstantinovskaya Street) showed a 40% revenue growth over the past year, became the basis for launching a new vector – opening the first restaurant outside the gas station.

"OKKO complexes have long been perceived by our guests not only as a place to refuel a car. And the successful launch of the 1st Meiwei restaurant at the gas station, which we opened at the end of 2015, proved this once again," comments Dmitry Rasskazov, Vice President for Retail and Marketing of the OKKO chain. "Our plans include opening new Meiwei establishments in various formats: these will be restaurants at gas stations and beyond, as well as 'express' food courts that can be implemented in shopping malls and integrated into cafe areas at gas stations. By the end of 2018, we plan to expand the geography beyond Kyiv – restaurants in Odesa and Lviv will join the chain."
In less than 2 years since the opening of the first Meiwei, it has been visited by more than 250 thousand guests. In addition, in December 2016, the company launched its own Meiwei delivery service, through which you can order most of the dishes from the restaurant's menu.
About the new Meiwei
Meiwei is understandable and fast Pan-Asian food for every day. Most dishes here are prepared in a few minutes directly after ordering, so the maximum speed of the process saves the guest's time and allows you to get a dish without losing product quality.

The menu of the new restaurant includes the "top" positions of the first Meiwei, which have already become favorites among guests of the restaurant on Novokonstantinovskaya: tom yum and ramen soups, udon noodles with beef, bao zi buns, traditional Chinese dim sum snacks. Guests of the new establishment will also find novelties – such as a warm salad with seafood and blue rice, two more authentic Asian soups – curry laksa and kuk su, and from main dishes – Sichuan carp, Cantonese pork ribs, and others.

Continuing the tradition of the first Meiwei, the interior design of the new establishment is quite laconic. Guests are greeted by a spacious hall with an open kitchen. Unusual zoning in the form of houses allows a company of four to seclude themselves. The restaurant also has a separate hall where you can gather a company for a special occasion.

You can place an order at the checkout and in the self-service area, where 2 interactive menus are installed. They contain information about dishes, their price, and images. The guest flips through it like a tablet screen, and the selected items go into the cart and, after payment, are transferred to the kitchen. The restaurant operates the Fishka loyalty program.
