Kyiv, September 29, 2017 - The OKKO Pay service for paying for fuel at the pump with a smartphone, which began operating in Kyiv and Lviv in mid-August, is now available for use throughout Ukraine. The payment solution with an integrated Masterpass digital wallet platform was presented by the gas station network together with Mastercard in the updated version of the Fishka mobile app.

“Today's pace of life is very high, and time is literally money. Our innovative OKKO Pay solution is a great example of how the OKKO network helps drivers use this time efficiently,” comments Vasyl Dmytriv, Marketing Director of the OKKO gas station network. “Understanding the value of this solution for customers, we actively worked to make OKKO Pay available across the country as soon as possible.”

To use the service, you need to download and log in to the Fishka mobile app in advance. The app automatically authorizes the user if they are already registered in the Masterpass digital wallet. You can also register in the wallet directly in the app by entering your bank card details once. These can be cards from any Ukrainian bank of various payment systems. Thus, Masterpass users can securely store data of all their bank cards in the digital wallet and pay faster and more conveniently – without the need to enter card details (card number, CVC-2 code, etc.) each time. Mastercard is the guarantor of payment security with Masterpass.

Actions at the gas station are very simple, so the whole process will take no more than a couple of minutes: you need to insert the nozzle into the fuel tank and go to the OKKO Pay section in the Fishka app. Then, point the app's scanner at the QR code placed on the pump and scan it. After that, enter the required number of liters or the amount you want to fill up, press the “Pay” button – and fuel dispensing starts automatically.
