According to insider information, BMW intends to start production of the revived 8-Series coupe as early as next year.
Production of the new generation of the “Eight” series will be organized at the company's facilities in Dingolfing, Germany.
The production car will inherit a number of design solutions from the BMW Concept 8 Series (pictured), which was presented last spring at the Villa d'Este elegance competition.
The technical content of the flagship coupe is still kept secret, but according to forecasts, a significant part of the components and units will be unified with the seventh series sedan.
