The initiative “Count Your Travel Time,” launched in spring at Pasta Mia restaurants, has now expanded to A la minute establishments. In total, this covers 40 restaurants located on Ukraine's main highways, where visitors are guaranteed their ordered dish will be served within fifteen minutes, regardless of the time of day.
Most items from the Pasta Mia and A la minute menus fit within the allotted 15 minutes — from soups and hot dishes to salads, desserts, as well as coffee and other drinks. The only exceptions are items whose recipes require longer cooking times — steaks, baked fish, shashlik, and similar. Floor staff will advise guests on how long they will have to wait for their order, so they can plan their stop at “OKKO”.
To test the restaurant's speed, the customer is given an hourglass after payment. If the sand has completely run through and the dish still hasn't been brought, the guest receives a special coupon for any type of coffee at the “OKKO” gas station chain's establishments.
“Visitors appreciate our dishes and the level of service at our restaurants at 'OKKO' gas stations. Now we have strengthened this advantage with speed. We have restructured operational processes, introduced new technologies, and provided additional training for cooks and waiters,” comments Andriy Yanchuk, head of the restaurant chain at “OKKO” gas stations. “In our establishments, you can always rest comfortably during your journey. But we realize that there are travelers who are in a hurry, live at a fast pace, and value every minute. Therefore, we have done everything so they don't waste time waiting for food.”
