Igor Loskutov, Commercial Director of AVTEK, the exclusive importer of Ford Trucks in Ukraine, shared information about the AGRO-2017 exhibition, upcoming premieres, and the prospects of our market.

Given the approaching harvest season, the greatest attention of the guests at the Ford Trucks stand at the AGRO-2017 exhibition, currently taking place in Kyiv, was drawn to the Ford 3536D 6x4 dump truck for transporting grain crops, equipped with a body of Ukrainian production. The grain carrier has a load capacity of 20 tons and is equipped with a 360-horsepower diesel engine paired with a 16-speed transmission.
Also presented at the stand is a tractor unit for long-haul transportation, the Ford 1848T, compatible with all types of trailers and equipped with a 480 hp engine. As Igor Loskutov noted, the company plans to actively develop the tractor segment and this year will introduce a new model with a 6x4 wheel arrangement in Ukraine.

The most actively growing sector in our country is municipal equipment. Ford Trucks has already won tenders for updating municipal vehicle fleets in cities such as Dnipro, Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi.
A major novelty in this segment will be the first garbage truck in Ukraine with a built-in container washing system, the premiere of which will take place at the end of July.
The company also does not forget about the development of service maintenance. For example, spare parts deliveries are carried out regularly every week, and for urgent cases, the delivery of the necessary part is carried out within 24 hours by air delivery.
In addition, large funds have been invested in the creation of a special training center, the training program of which is already scheduled for two years ahead.
Ford Trucks plans to double its sales and occupy at least 8% of the Ukrainian market in 2017, and in the future to bring its share to 10%.
