According to preliminary data, the overall dimensions of the car will not change. However, the front part of the Octavia's body will be completely redesigned. In particular, the new model will get a radiator grille in the style of the Superb, as well as updated headlights. In addition, the five-door will have different taillights.
It is not yet reported what changes will occur in the technical part. The premiere of the next-generation Skoda Octavia will take place before the end of the current decade.
The current generation of the Skoda Octavia saw the light in 2012. On the Russian market, the car is available in two body types - liftback and station wagon. The Octavia's powertrain lineup includes four petrol engines developing from 110 to 220 horsepower, as well as a diesel engine with 150 horsepower.
Earlier, photos of the updated Volkswagen Golf hatchback, which is based on the same MQB platform as the Octavia, appeared on the Internet. The German model will get a new multimedia system.
