As reported by the press service of the German brand, assembly of the model will be established in the Polish city of Września. The territory of the Crafter production plant covers about 220 hectares. By the time the new enterprise reaches full production capacity, more than 3,000 people will be employed here.

The vehicle received a new 2.0-liter TDI EA 288Nutz engine. The engine is available in four power variants: 102 hp, 122 hp, and 140 horsepower. In addition, customers will be offered a 177-horsepower engine with twin turbocharging. The choice of engines will depend on the drive option: buyers will be able to order front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive versions with automatic or manual transmission.

Three body variants of different lengths will be offered, each of which will have modifications with three roof height options. In all variants, the drag coefficient will not exceed 0.33, which is better than the current generation model.

The equipment list includes ESP with trailer stabilization function, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking system, crosswind compensation system, and maneuvering assistant with trailer. The vehicle is also equipped with front and side airbags for the driver and passengers, as well as head airbags. The driver has access to a rearview camera, parking assistant, and a system that warns when reversing out of a parking space.
