The German automaker has announced a service campaign that will recall over 800,000 Touareg and Porsche Cayenne SUVs.
The reason is a potential defect in the pedal design — there is a possibility that the retaining ring on the bearing may come off.
The recall affects vehicles produced from 2011 to 2016 inclusive. As the company clarified, the service work will involve 391,000 Touareg units, as well as 409,477 Porsche Cayenne cars.
