The completion of the large-scale reconstruction is planned to coincide with the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day. It is worth noting that work on the site has been ongoing for several years, and at the moment the total cost has reached 427 million hryvnias.
As promised by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a new recreation area will appear in the capital, located on the Dnipro embankment.
"In essence, a completely new square has been created here, which did not exist before. By Independence Day, we will open a modern and convenient public space, including a unique fountain and a landscaped area. Kyiv residents will be able to spend pleasant time here with children and loved ones, relax, and go down directly to the water. For the convenience of people with reduced mobility, ramps are provided, and for cyclists, special access ramps. The renovation of Poshtova Square is one of the stages that will help make our city modern without losing its uniqueness and charm," Klitschko noted.
