In particular, the company "Automotive Europe Corporation", which represents the BYD brand in our country, is still forced to prove the illegality of the fines imposed on it in the amount of UAH 1,349,843.50 in a fabricated case of tax evasion for the period from November 2011 to the end of 2012.

A fairly successful auto importer, which brought the represented brand to 3rd place among Chinese automakers, has been proving its innocence for a year, having prepared the entire package of financial documents for this period, but until recently the State Tax Inspectorate rejected all arguments, insisting on paying the fine. At the same time, even working under such conditions, "Automotive Europe Corporation" paid more than UAH 70.5 million in taxes and fees to the state treasury.

For this reason, the company's lawyers decided to appeal such actions of the tax authorities in court. The court will begin its work today, March 18, and AutoPortal will report on its decision additionally.

It is the court's decision that will influence the importer's final decision on continuing or ceasing operations in Ukraine. By the way, Oleh Nazarenko, head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Importers and Dealers (UAID), also speaks of constant pressure on the automotive business.
