Neste City Pro 5W-40 can be used year-round in any conditions in gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars. It is suitable for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, and is well suited for engines with catalytic converters and multi-valve engines. Using Neste City Pro 5W-40 contributes to reliable engine operation and the easy starting required for the catalytic converter, low oil consumption, and engine cleanliness.
In addition to Neste City Pro 5W-40, the line also includes several special motor oils. Neste City Pro 0W-40 oil (ACEA A3/B4, API SN/CF) is specially designed for operation in sharply continental climates where winters can be very cold. In terms of viscosity, the lower the first number, the less viscous the oil is in the cold, and the higher the second, the better it withstands heat. Therefore, Neste City Pro 0W-40 oil is well suited for cold starting in severe frosts, while in heat it provides a thick oil film.
