It is important to consider that KAMAZ is one of the key manufacturers of military equipment for the Russian army. Apparently, the actions of the neighboring state towards Ukraine could have influenced such a decision.

On the Ukrainian market, KAMAZ trucks remain in demand — last year, about 700 vehicles were sold here, which equals 1.5% of the plant's total sales volume. The company's management admits that stopping exports to Ukraine will negatively affect financial performance, but the team is ready to accept such losses.

The main export market for the Kama Automobile Plant is now Indonesia. Over the next three years, it is planned to send 1,500 units of equipment there. According to importers, other Russian companies may also halt supplies following KAMAZ.
