At the meeting, the task was set to bring retail fuel prices to an economically justified level. At the same time, it was emphasized that the government prefers minimal intervention in price formation on the petroleum products market, but intends to keep this process under control to avoid unjustified price increases. According to statistics, during the New Year holidays, the average cost of motor fuel increased by no more than one percent.
