In the first half of 2014, an update of the painting line is planned. Thanks to the introduction of cataphoresis technology and the installation of new equipment, the body's resistance to corrosion should increase eightfold. It will also become possible to paint cars to individual orders, and the palette of available colors will become much wider. The launch of the updated line is scheduled for March 2014.
The second stage of modernization provides for the installation of new plastic elements: fenders, bumpers, optics, and other parts. The restyling is planned for autumn 2014, and it will affect not only the appearance but also the interior equipment of the UAZ Patriot and Pickup models, as well as expand the list of available versions.
The list of options will be supplemented with 18-inch alloy wheels, a large multifunctional display, a navigation system, a rear-view camera, dual-zone climate control, a new onboard computer with a control unit, and other functions.
It is worth noting that in autumn 2013, the UAZ Patriot already underwent significant technical changes. These include an electronically controlled transfer case, a new instrument panel, heated windshield and front seats, as well as the ability to adjust the climate from the rear row.
